Most of your rubbish can be put in a Rubbish Rangers skip bin. If possible please try to keep green waste separate from household items as this helps us with our recycling. Items you can put in our skips are: Green waste, household items like furniture, building rubble, building materials including bricks and timber, sand steel and packaging. There are some items that simply cannot be put in a skip bin and these include: tyres, batteries, asbestos, poisons and chemicals, medical waste, explosives and liquid waste. If you're unsure, please ask us by calling 1800 4 RUBBISH.
Each Rubbish Rangers skip bin cannot be filled over the height of the bin itself. A general rule is if there is anything above the height of the bin the skip is overfull and our staff cannot collect the bin. If this happens we will remove the excess waste and leave it on the ground next to the bin. There are strict regulations on carrying loads safely and an overfull bin cannot be safely carried on the road network in WA.
We have a great relationship with the local refuse sites in the local Mandurah and greater Peel region. Each type of waste needs to be dumped in specific sites and we make sure that every rubbish and waste dumping is completed within Australian regulations.
Rubbish Rangers skips start from the smallest two metre size and can be as large as a ten metre skip. For a full range of sizes, have a look here.
Mandurah, Murray, Rockingham and Kwinana Council regulations require Rubbish Rangers to only place skip bins in a place that does not hinder traffic or pedestrians. This means that we will need to place the skip bin in a position that’s not on a path, on a road or in a car space. It limits us to generally place a bin in your front yard. Please be aware that placing bins is soft sand areas is not possible due to safety issues.
